“Resource Development Services” are legal services related to the development of custom deliverables for the client’s general business operations, like drafting custom form contract documents, revising consumer notices, and updating official policies and procedures. CoreServe Legal offers these services to provide the client with practical and easy-to-use resources that help improve the client’s business operations while managing legal risks. These services are further classified by practice area and priced based on a fixed-fee tiered pricing structure, which is supplemented by optional ancillary add-on services. For form contract documents, the client will also receive discounted Transaction Support Services when using those forms later on.

Transaction Support

“Transaction Support Services” are legal services related to the client’s transactions with third parties, like drafting and reviewing transaction-specific contract documents, advising the client on associated risks, conducting contract negotiations with the opposing counsel, and putting together post-execution compliance and management procedures. CoreServe Legal offers these services to help the client achieve its transactional objectives in an informed and compliant manner, with an adequate understanding of the legal risks and alternatives. These services are further classified by practice area and priced based on a fixed-fee tiered pricing structure, which is supplemented by optional ancillary add-ons. In addition, the price range quoted above is drastically reduced for transactions using form documents developed under Resource Development Services.

CoreServe Legal offers these services to help the client protect its interests in data and intellectual property and to help client's team avoid infringing others’ similar rights.

Virtual Consultations

“Virtual Consultations” are legal services related to basic legal advice given during virtual meetings, including teleconferences and videoconferences. Virtual Consultations are typically booked in around 25-minute intervals and conducted via a third-party videoconferencing platform (like Zoom). Standard pricing includes reasonable attorney prep time and communications for scheduling purposes, but not detailed factual/legal reviews, definitive legal conclusions, or formal deliverables. These services are for when the client needs off-the-cuff legal advice outside of a subscription plan or purchased project support services (there's no extra charge to the client for in-plan or in-project virtual consultations).

In-Person Appearances

“In-Person Appearances” are legal services related to in-person events during which the client requests a CoreServe Legal attorney to be present for generalized legal representation. Examples of In-Person Appearances include client board meetings, media appearances, trainings, and in-person negotiations. In-Person Appearances are typically scheduled in half-day (up to 4 hour) blocks. Standard pricing includes reasonable attorney prep time, communications for scheduling purposes, and travel within a 80-mile drive from downtown New Orleans, LA, but not detailed factual/legal reviews, definitive legal conclusions, or formal deliverables. These services are for when the client prefers to not handle something remotely (at a lower cost). The block scheduling is used to strike a balance between flexibility and predictability to simplify the upfront fixed-fee guarantee.

Preliminary Recommendations

“Preliminary Recommendations” are legal services related to the client’s requests for simplified answers to legal questions, without significant time invested in factual/legal reviews or detailed explanations. Preliminary Recommendations are typically requested on a single-issue basis, provided via email communications, and are summarized in less than 1,000 words. These services are for when the client is looking for a straightforward answer to a legal question or a simplified solution to a legal problem, without over-lawyering the issue. In this sense, preliminary recommendations take a practical approach to giving legal advice, weighing the value of a comprehensive solution against the costs of intensive reviews and delays to the client.
